Starting with a wooden frame, you will create and personalise your own convex mirror (known as a banker's mirror or “specchio di strega”).
After preparing the surfaces, you will apply your choice of gold leaf, from classic to variegated (with unique oxidation patterns), and paint your chosen surfaces.
Finally, you will choose hand-printed Venetian paper from Ateliers Ofer to elegantly cover the back of your mirror and affix a wax seal certifying the origin of your creation.
Depending on the individual, this course takes between 1 hour 15 minutes and 1 hour 45 minutes on average.
To make a convex mirror:
- 150 euros for one person
- 135 per person for two or more people
To make a photo frame:
- 70 euros for one person
- 60 euros per person for two or more people
- Optional: turn the photo frame into a mirror (+15 euros for the vintage mirror and a sheet of Venetian printed paper for the back)

Use of materials, all made or crafted in Venice or Italy (convex mirror, wooden frame, Bologna gesso, gold leaf from Florence, Venetian paper.
