The workshop takes place in the Studiolo space, in the heart of Venice, in a historic setting dedicated to working with materials and the unhurried practice of craft.
The number of participants is deliberately limited to ensure attentive support
Each day is designed to balance practice, observation and discussion.

The workshop is neither academic nor improvised: it follows a clear structure while leaving room for experimentation
This course consists of two or three sessions, depending on the techniques selected and the objects to be made.
Advanced Training Part 1:
2 sessions of 2½ hours: preparing the surface with rabbit-skin glue, Bologna gesso, preparing shellac and fish glue, applying gold leaf, agate burnishing and waxing … an object of your choice (mirror, angel, picture frame, forcola (gondola oarlock) or mask
Price including materials: 300 euros
Advanced training part 2:
1 additional session (2 hours) for Venetian lacquer painting, faux marble and relief work … the course including part 2 will allow you to create a second object of your choice.

This experience is designed for private bookings.
For groups (maximum 4 people), the price per person decreases:
1 person: 300 euros + 150 euros (part 2)
2 people: 250 euros per person + 125 euros (part 2)
3 and 4 people: 225 euro per person + 115 euro (part 2)
All materials and work supplies come from artisan workshops in Venice (wooden frames, metal fittings, mirrors, etc.) and South Tyrol (wood carvings).
